Stockholm menswear brand (ASKET AB) founded in 2015 by August Bard Bringéus and Jakob Dworsky around a permanent collection and full supply-chain traceability. ASKET publishes a factory page for every facility it works with — and the backbone of its garment production is in northern Portugal.
ASKET’s traceability programme publishes named factory pages for each step of its supply chain. The brand’s t-shirt — its founding product, first prototyped in March 2015 — is cut and sewn at Cottonparadise in Várzea, northern Portugal, the very first factory to join ASKET and still its partner a decade later. Cottonparadise’s founder-manager Paolo grew up in a textile family and has scaled with the Swedish brand, adding a second production floor and a separate sewing unit thirty minutes away.
Beyond t-shirts, ASKET’s published factory roster includes Portuguese jersey and fleece facilities, a dedicated jersey-and-fleece sewing factory, a t-shirt dyeing facility and a shirt factory — with cutting, sewing, washing, pressing and packing carried out in EU facilities, the majority in Portugal and Italy. Portugal covers t-shirts, sweatshirts, shirts, trousers, underwear and outerwear for the brand.
ASKET represents the deepest form of Nordic-Portuguese textile integration: not anonymous sourcing but a decade-long, publicly documented partnership in which a Swedish brand’s growth directly financed a Portuguese factory’s expansion. Its per-garment disclosure model also makes it one of the most verifiable Nordic buyers in the Portuguese textile cluster.
