Corridor footprint

nif.pt lists the company as Vasicol, Olaria de Barro Vermelho, Lda. (NIF 502064617, postal code 2480-104 Pedreiras).

H&M Group’s public supplier list (August 2026 edition, version 1.1) names the factory at Rua Ilídio Pires 7, Moitalina, Pedreiras as a component and manufacturing unit owned by the supplier (in-house), with home hardgoods as its product type, 6–10 years of business with H&M and a workforce in the 1–500 band.

As its legal name says (olaria de barro vermelho, red-clay pottery), Vasicol works in terracotta; its website groups its pieces into utility, decorative and garden ranges, and its news section includes items on its showroom and on the Ambiente Frankfurt 2023 fair.

Why this matters

Only four of the 63 Portuguese factory rows on H&M Group’s August 2026 list are home-hardgoods factories, and three of them have 6–10 years of H&M business: Vasicol, Val do Sol and the cutlery maker Herdmar. Vasicol and Val do Sol share the same Moitalina locality of Pedreiras, so two of Portugal’s four H&M home-hardgoods suppliers come from one village in Porto de Mós.
