Pedreiras (Porto de Mós) ceramics maker Val do Sol (NIF 501813535) is named on H&M Group’s August 2026 public supplier list as an in-house home-hardgoods factory that has worked with H&M for 6–10 years.
nif.pt lists the company as Val do Sol Cerâmicas, S.A. (NIF 501813535, postal code 2480-104 Porto de Mós).
H&M Group’s public supplier list (August 2026 edition, version 1.1) names the factory at Moitalina, EN8, 57, Pedreiras as a component, manufacturing and processing unit owned by the supplier (in-house), with home hardgoods as its product type, 6–10 years of business with H&M and a workforce in the 1–500 band.
Val do Sol’s website says the company was founded by the Alves family in 1987, growing out of a family pottery business dating back to 1886, and that it is 100% owned by the Alves family; its product pages present a stoneware collection.
Only four of the 63 Portuguese factory rows on H&M Group’s August 2026 list are home-hardgoods factories, and three of them have 6–10 years of H&M business: Val do Sol, Vasicol and the cutlery maker Herdmar. Two of the four, Val do Sol and Vasicol, sit in the same Moitalina locality of Pedreiras, which makes this corner of Porto de Mós a small but steady source of ceramics for the Swedish group.
