Fafe clothing maker Tritêxtil (NIF 502893885) is named as supplier on 16 of the 63 Portuguese rows of H&M Group’s August 2026 public supplier list — its own jersey factory plus 15 contracted units — more than any other Portuguese supplier, all with less than three years of business with H&M.
nif.pt lists the company as Tritextil – Industria de Vestuario, Lda. (NIF 502893885, postal code 4820-400 Fareja, Fafe). The racius company register gives its seat as Rua de S. Silvestre 1177 in Fareja, records its main activity as series manufacture of outerwear (CAE 14131, with CAE 14190 for other garments and accessories), notes an earlier spelling of the name, Tritêxitil – Indústria de Vestuário, Lda., and shows balance sheets on file from 2006 to 2024.
H&M Group’s public supplier list (August 2026 edition, version 1.1) names Tritêxtil’s own factory at Rua de S. Silvestre 1177 as an in-house manufacturing unit making jersey, with Organic Content Standard and Recycled Claim Standard certification and a workforce in the 1–500 band. The same list names Tritêxtil as the supplier for 15 contracted units: 11 jersey manufacturing units, among them Fer-Tex – Indústria de Vestuário (also on Rua de S. Silvestre), Confecções Petramar, Confecções Soutinho, Helder Costa Matos (Regilde) and Cristina Freitas (Barco, Guimarães); one component unit, Gravotextil – Sociedade de Acabamentos Têxteis (Fafe); and three processing units — Estamparia Jocolor (Joane, Vila Nova de Famalicão), Estamparia Têxtil Amado & Martins (Briteiros, Guimarães) and the embroiderer Interborda – Bordados. All 16 rows are listed with less than three years of business with H&M.
No other Portuguese supplier has as many rows on H&M Group’s list: Valérius Têxteis has eight and Becri six. Tritêxtil’s 16 rows are almost half of the 33 Portuguese rows listed with less than three years of business, so much of the Swedish group’s recent Portuguese sourcing runs through one Fafe garment maker and its network of small sewing, printing and embroidery workshops in the Ave valley — a pattern NorthSouth HQ examined in its 6 October analysis of the list.
