Tomar furniture maker that designs and produces contemporary bookcases, shelving, tables, desks and bedroom furniture in its own factory, sold flat-packed in more than 40 countries. Operated by Temabrands Solutions, Lda (NIF 519159314), it exhibited in Norway for the first time at Oslo Design Fair in September 2026 and delivers from its own webshop to Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
TemaHome designs and manufactures its own collections at a factory in the industrial zone of Tomar, in the Santarém district, and sells them under its own brand rather than as a private-label supplier. The company says it has more than 40 years of experience in furniture production and a presence in more than 40 countries; its furniture is FSC-certified and shipped flat-packed for home assembly, a format that suits e-commerce and the distribution models common in Nordic retail. The operating company is Temabrands Solutions, Lda (NIF 519159314), registered at Avenida António de Fonseca Simões 22 in Tomar.
Its Nordic route has two strands. Online, TemaHome’s own webshop lists Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway among its delivery countries, pricing in euros. In trade, it was one of 15 Portuguese companies in the Associative Design – The Best of Portugal pavilion at Oslo Design Fair, held at NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrøm from 31 August to 2 September 2026 — the first collective showing in Norway by AIMMP, the Portuguese wood and furniture industry association, which organised a parallel mission to the Scandinavian market.
Portuguese furniture is a small but growing presence in Nordic homes: Norway imported NOK 105 million of furniture from Portugal in 2025, about half a percent of its furniture imports, according to Statistics Norway. Brands like TemaHome, which combine their own design with flat-pack logistics and direct online sales, are the kind of exporter that can move that share without a local warehouse, and the Oslo fair is the first sign of a coordinated Portuguese push into Norwegian furniture retail.
