Intimates and jersey manufacturer operating a modern factory in Camarate (Loures), just outside Lisbon, trading as Skin Intimates. It is named on Copenhagen brand Organic Basics’ published factory list as the brand’s Portuguese textile-production partner.
Skins appears by name on Organic Basics’ factory transparency pages as the Danish brand’s Portuguese textile-production site. Unusually for the sector, the Camarate plant sits in the Lisbon area rather than the northern Minho cluster, giving the capital region a foothold in a trade normally dominated by Braga and Barcelos.
The factory’s intimates specialisation — underwear, jersey and close-to-body garments with demanding fit and fabric-handling requirements — is exactly the niche where Nordic direct-to-consumer brands prefer EU production. Alongside Organic Basics, the plant produces for international intimates brands such as the UK’s Peachaus.
Skins shows the Portugal → Nordics supply relationship moving up the value chain: named, audited, marketed-by-the-customer production — where the Portuguese factory itself becomes part of the Nordic brand’s consumer-facing sustainability story.
Fractio helps Portuguese manufacturers win and diversify Nordic customers — with local presence, without the overhead.
