Corridor footprint

PC Footwear develops and produces premium footwear for international brands, designers and artists from its base in Cucujães, Oliveira de Azeméis, combining artisanal tradition with a modern industrial organisation. In July 2026 the company delivered a made-to-measure boot collection for Swedish singer Zara Larsson — a high-calf western silhouette followed by a shocking-pink metallic model — a commission promoted internationally by trade association APICCAPS and AICEP’s Portugal Global newsroom.

Founded in 2007, the company employs around 50 people, produced roughly 85,000 pairs in 2025, and runs its own label, Helena Mar, created in 2017. “This project reflects the dedication, talent and attention to detail we put into every product we develop,” CEO Alberto Ribeiro said of the Larsson collaboration.

Why this matters for the corridor

A bespoke collection on a Swedish arena stage is top-of-pyramid work — small runs, high specification, won on development speed rather than price — and it gives one more Portuguese mid-cap a reference client in Scandinavia’s most-watched cultural export industry.
