Corridor footprint

NOS Comunicações, S.A. (NIF 502604751, 1600-404 Lisboa) is a Lisbon telecommunications company. In a contract award notice published in the EU’s Tenders Electronic Daily on 10 March 2025 (notice 153656-2025), it appears — as NOS Comunicações Móveis, S.A., under the same company number — as the winning tenderer for the supply and installation of a communications network between Navegação Aérea de Portugal (NAV Portugal, E.P.E.) and the members of the COOPANS alliance, at a value of EUR 562,148.64 under the Portuguese Public Procurement Code.

The procurement was joint. Alongside NAV Portugal, the notice lists Sweden’s air navigation service provider Luftfartsverket (org. no. 202100-0795, Norrköping) and Denmark’s Naviair (CVR 26059763, Kastrup) as contracting parties, together with Austro Control, Croatia Control and AirNav Ireland. The places of performance named in the notice are Malmö-Sturup in Sweden and Kastrup in Denmark, plus Clare, Vienna and Velika Gorica, and the tender covers installation outside Portugal.

Why this matters

NOS sits inside the Portugal ↔ Scandinavia business corridor that NorthSouth HQ tracks every day. Joint procurements by cross-border alliances such as COOPANS give Portuguese suppliers a route to Nordic public customers: here a Lisbon company was selected to install network links that reach Swedish and Danish air-navigation sites.
