Neuraspace

Space

Coimbra-based space-traffic-management company founded in 2020 by Nuno Sebastião, the founder of Feedzai, and led by CEO Chiara Manfletti, previously the first president of Portugal Space. Its AI platform automates collision avoidance for satellite operators; Danish satellite maker GomSpace integrates it into the HOOP satellite-operations platform, and Neuraspace is an affiliate of the EISCAT radar association and one of two Portuguese firms in NATO DIANA’s 2026 cohort.

Corridor footprint

Neuraspace’s clearest Nordic anchor is commercial: Danish smallsat manufacturer GomSpace integrates the Neuraspace space-traffic-management engine into its HOOP satellite-operations platform, putting Portuguese collision-avoidance AI inside a Danish product sold to constellation operators. The company is also an affiliate of EISCAT, the scientific radar association whose installations across northern Sweden, Norway and Finland are central to European space-surveillance research.

Founded in Coimbra in 2020 by Feedzai founder Nuno Sebastião and led by Chiara Manfletti — the first president of the Portuguese space agency and a former ESA policy lead — Neuraspace raised a €2.5 million round led by Armilar Venture Partners and runs a €25 million smart traffic-management programme backed by Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Plan. In 2026 it was selected for the NATO DIANA accelerator, one of only two Portuguese companies in the cohort.

Why this matters for the corridor

Space is one of the corridor’s newest lanes: Portuguese AI flying inside Danish satellite platforms, validated by Nordic-hosted research infrastructure and now a NATO innovation programme. Neuraspace is the reference case for Portuguese deep tech selling north.
