Barcelos garment maker Meamstyle (NIF 503842907) is named on Finnish design house Marimekko’s partner-supplier list, updated June 2026, as a garment factory with 80 workers that has supplied Marimekko since 2015.
nif.pt lists the company as Meamstyle, S.A. (NIF 503842907, postal code 4750-461 Barcelos). The racius company register gives its seat as Rua do Loteamento do Eirôgo 300 in Barcelos, records its main activity as series manufacture of outerwear (CAE 14131, with CAE 14140 for underwear and CAE 46421 for clothing wholesale) plus solar electricity generation, a share capital of €1,090,150, and notes that the company was previously known as Mendes & Martinho, Lda.
Marimekko’s list of partner suppliers for 2025, last updated in June 2026, names Meamstyle’s factory on the Loteamento do Eirôgo in Galegos Santa Maria, Barcelos, as a garment supplier with 80 workers and a relationship with the Finnish brand dating from 2015.
Meamstyle is one of two garment factories in Barcelos on Marimekko’s list, with Pedrosa & Rodrigues in Gilmonde, in a Portuguese supply base that Marimekko’s own “Meet the makers” feature said in 2016 was making the majority of its jersey products. Marimekko’s June 2026 partner-supplier list has 97 factory rows, 13 of them in Portugal — 12 different Portuguese suppliers, second only to China’s 13 — and the Helsinki-listed design house’s 2025 annual report puts Portugal’s share of Marimekko products sold at 15%, behind only China (20%) and Thailand (17%).
