Love Tiles is a Portuguese ceramic floor- and wall-tile brand made by Gres Panaria Portugal in the Aveiro region, part of Italy’s listed Panariagroup. Portugal exported around €883 million of ceramic products in 2025, with Sweden and Finland among its top tile markets — the corridor Love Tiles rides on.
Love Tiles is one of the brands of Gres Panaria Portugal, alongside Margres and Gresart, produced at two plants in the Aveiro ceramic cluster (the Love Tiles line traces back to the former Novagres unit, rebranded in 2008). The operation runs an installed capacity of around 8 million square metres a year and reaches more than 2,000 clients across over 110 countries.
Although Gres Panaria Portugal is owned by Italy’s Panariagroup, its tiles are Portuguese-made and form part of a national industry that exported roughly €883 million of ceramic products in 2025. Sweden and Finland rank among the top markets for Portuguese floor and wall tiles — design-literate, import-dependent Nordic markets where Portuguese porcelain competes on quality.
Tiles rarely make corridor headlines, but they are a near-perfect example of the Portugal→Nordics thesis: a traditional industry that climbed into design-led porcelain and now sells into demanding northern markets on quality rather than price. Love Tiles is the branded edge of that quiet export machine.
