Guimarães cutlery maker Herdmar (Manuel Marques, Herdeiros, S.A., NIF 500179620) is named on H&M Group’s August 2026 public supplier list as an in-house home-hardgoods factory that has worked with H&M for 6–10 years.
nif.pt lists the company as Manuel Marques, Herdeiros, S.A. (NIF 500179620, postal code 4805-015).
H&M Group’s public supplier list (August 2026 edition, version 1.1) names the factory at Rua S. Cláudio 2710, Barco (Guimarães) as an in-house (“owned by”) component and manufacturing unit in H&M’s home hardgoods category, with 6–10 years of business with H&M and a workforce in the 1–500 band. It is one of only four Portuguese factories on the list in that category.
Herdmar’s own website says the company was founded in 1911 and describes it as one of the world’s largest producers of table cutlery.
H&M Group updates its supplier list every quarter and names each factory once. Nine of the 63 Portuguese factory rows on the August 2026 list sit in the 6–10 year band; with the 13 rows above ten years, only 22 Portuguese rows show six or more years of business with the Swedish retailer.
