Grupo Lusiaves – SGPS, S.A. (NIF 507438884), registered at Rua da Fonte, Marinha das Ondas, 3094-002 Figueira da Foz, with share capital of €70 million, is the leader of Portugal’s poultry sector: an integrated agri-food group of more than 40 companies and more than 5,600 employees in Portugal, Spain and France, founded in 1986 and chaired by Avelino Gaspar. It is the largest shareholder of Nasdaq Stockholm-listed Scandi Standard AB, the Nordic region’s leading chicken producer (Kronfågel, Danpo, Den Stolte Hane, Naapurin Maalaiskana, Manor Farm): 14,065,641 shares, or 21.3 percent, at 31 December 2025 according to Scandi Standard’s annual report, with Paulo Gaspar, vice-president of the group, serving as vice chairman of the Swedish board. Finansinspektionen filings show the group buying 49,385 further shares and 2,202,569 subscription rights between 1 and 10 September 2026 during Scandi Standard’s SEK 408 million rights issue, on top of 218,044 shares bought between March and August 2026.
