Frotcom International, headquartered in Carnaxide on the western edge of Lisbon, has been building fleet-management software since 1997 — one of Portugal's longest-running B2B SaaS exports. The platform combines vehicle and asset GPS tracking, driver management, route planning and cost analytics for transport and service fleets, sold country by country through a network of certified partners that now spans more than 40 markets.
That partner model is how Frotcom entered the Nordics: the company maintains certified partners for Denmark and Sweden, each listed on Frotcom's own country pages, giving Danish and Swedish fleet operators local-language sales and support on top of the Portuguese-built platform. It is a rare example of Portuguese enterprise software distributed commercially in Scandinavia under its own brand.
Portuguese software exports to the Nordics usually travel invisibly, inside consulting projects or white-label deals. Frotcom's branded, partner-led presence in Denmark and Sweden is the more scalable pattern — productised Portuguese technology with local Nordic channels — and a model NorthSouth HQ expects more Portuguese SaaS companies to follow.
