Corridor footprint

nif.pt lists the company as ETFOR – Empresa Têxtil, S.A. (NIF 502081554, postal code 4740-438 Forjães, Esposende).

H&M Group’s public supplier list (August 2026 edition, version 1.1) names ETFOR’s factory at Av. Margarida de Queirós 301, Forjães as a manufacturing unit owned by the supplier (in-house), with jersey as its product type, less than three years of business with H&M and a workforce in the 1–500 band. The list also attaches a second row to ETFOR as supplier: Adalberto Textile Solutions, S.A., a contracted component unit at Rua Adalberto Pinto da Silva 28, Rebordões.

ETFOR’s website says the company was founded in 1988 by Lúcia Lage and Artur Correia, launched its own children’s brand, Play Up, in 2004 and completed an expansion to 7,000 m² in 2022. It describes ETFOR as a circular-knitting specialist with a production capacity of 500,000 items a month that exports 95% of its output and produces for major retailers, premium brands and sustainable brands, and states GRS, OCS and RCS certification.

Why this matters

Jersey is where most of H&M Group’s recent Portuguese sourcing sits: of the 33 Portuguese rows on the August 2026 list with less than three years of H&M business, 19 are jersey factories. ETFOR, a family company founded in 1988 that its website says already exports 95% of its output, is one of those newcomers, listed both with its own Forjães factory and with a contracted component unit.
