Better Collective is a digital sports-media company founded in Copenhagen in 2004 by Jesper Søgaard and Christian Kirk Rasmussen, who remain co-CEOs. It runs a portfolio of sports and betting-media brands — including HLTV, Futbin, Action Network and VegasInsider — and is dual-listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and Copenhagen under the ticker BETCO, with around 1,556 employees and revenue of €371.5 million in 2024.
The company operates a Lisbon office at the Amoreiras Plaza building, presented through a dedicated Portugal recruitment portal with a hybrid working model and local benefits. The Lisbon team spans content, technical SEO, display media, software development and data protection roles, making Portugal one of the operational hubs behind Better Collective’s media brands.
Better Collective is part of a wave of Nordic digital and media companies using Lisbon as an engineering and content base — drawn by the talent pool, language skills and cost position. Its Lisbon office is a concrete example of Danish technology employment landing in Portugal rather than staying in Copenhagen.
In the first quarter of 2025 Better Collective reported revenue of around €83 million, down roughly 13% year on year, driven mainly by Brazil’s transition to a newly regulated betting market; the company launched a €50 million cost-efficiency programme in response.
