The Portuguese business register lists the company’s object as the commercialisation, sale, distribution, import and export of human medicines and of medical devices and equipment, and its main activity as CAE 46460 (wholesale of pharmaceutical products). Capital increases were registered in March 2026. In its 2025 annual report on Form 20-F, filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Ascendis Pharma A/S lists ASND Portugal, Unipessoal, Lda. as a 100%-owned subsidiary, next to group companies in Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The Danish entity Ascendis Pharma Europe A/S also holds a Portuguese tax number (NIF 980872936).
Ascendis Pharma sits inside the Portugal ↔ Scandinavia business corridor that NorthSouth HQ tracks every day. It is one of the newest Danish life-sciences companies to set up its own Portuguese subsidiary, and the Lisbon company is part of the structure Ascendis uses to sell its medicines directly in Europe.
