Arribas Wine Company is a minimal-intervention producer founded in 2017 by the winemakers Fred Machado and Ricardo Alves at Rua do Quartel 44, Bemposta, in the Mogadouro municipality of Trás-os-Montes, working old vineyards of local, often unregistered grape varieties on the schist and granite slopes of the Arribas do Douro along the Spanish border. Fermentations are spontaneous, without selected yeasts or filtration. In Sweden its Saroto White 2024 (art. 7118001, SEK 247) and Saroto Palhete 2024 (art. 7679801, SEK 247) are listed in Systembolaget’s order range through Kellner & Kellner AB.
